University Medical Centre
Project brief/Initial criteria:
As a university-based GP practice, we have a high annual turnover of patient notes coming in and going out and overall numbers seem to increase each year and we were running out of shelf space to accommodate the new notes. We had already got notes in several different areas of the building which was not ideal. We really wanted to keep the notes on site if possible, in one designated area but somehow to save space too but were at a loss to know how.
Why did you choose Invicta to complete this project?
We looked at several different methods of note storage both off & on site and got quotes for all of them. I found Invicta via an online Google search and my interest was sparked by the fact that it offered more shelving for a smaller footprint, the possibility of using our existing cabinets (although that turned out not to be possible) and the fact that the company was local to us and had good reviews and a clear to understand website. After we had booked it all, our maintenance company said they had worked with Invicta in the past and highly recommended them, which was reassuring.
Invicta installation performance and timescale comments and rating out of 10:
I would rate this a 10. A date was arranged and early in the morning of the appointed day the cabinets and rails arrived with two fitters who got straight to work and by the end of the day, there were only a few minor things to do to finish off the next morning.
They were conscientious and thorough and managed to install a large number of mobile shelving units without inconveniencing the Reception Team who were working in the same area. From the first initial tentative enquiry to installation was almost exactly 2 months.
Customer service/project management comments and rating out of 10:
Invicta was a pleasure to deal with, David came out to measure up within days of our enquiry and the quote was with us very promptly. He gave us three options to choose from and time to choose without feeling pressured. All our queries were answered quickly and efficiently. Communication was easy either by phone or email and we were always kept in the picture.
How did Invicta’s solution meet/exceed your initial project brief requirements?
We now have all our notes housed in the new mobile shelves with room to spare for new notes hopefully for a few years to come and the footprint that they take up is a lot less than the original sets of assorted shelves & cupboards. Our old shelving did not have doors so we now feel the notes are more secure when the mobile shelving is shut and locked. They are easy to use and look very smart. We are extremely pleased with the choice we made.
How would you rate the overall level of service received out of 10?
10 From the outset we felt we were in good hands. Everyone we had contact at Invicta with was efficient, professional & above all friendly.
Any additional comments:
A couple of the cabinets arrived from the factory with no back panels and despite the fitters best efforts, due to a problem at the factory, they did not arrive until a day later but Invicta sent someone round as soon as they arrived and they were fitted there and then. So despite a hiccup it really did not cause any inconvenience and was handled smoothly by Invicta.
Although the option we chose was more expensive than some of the quotes we got for other solutions to our problem it has given us exactly what we wanted quickly and efficiently – much more storage in a smaller footprint that looks smart and is secure. We would certainly recommend if you are looking for extra storage in a smaller space that you have a chat with Invicta.
